Weddings

So, I love a good wedding. Short ceremony, beautiful people, fun reception, no drama...what's not to like? Well, for one, I can't stand going to weddings because my mother turns into a social Mothra. I only say this because she wants to hook me up with any and every cute, single woman at these weddings. And what do you think happens if I'm not digging one of these girls, or I don't feel like dancing at the reception till the sun sets? All of a sudden I'm a social short bus patron. Where is all this daggone enthusiasm when I wanna go do something? Concerts, no. Movies, no. Ride on the motorcycle, definitely out! What is it with weddings and this woman? Maybe I should bring home some tackheads...

Keep in mind that last year I hollered at a girl that was in a wedding party with me, pictured top left and bottom right. That obviously didn't bear any fruit because I'm moving to the Chi as single and as fly as I wanna be. Speaking of being fly, I didn't even have my camera today to capture how fly I was looking today. What I did capture was some useless information. The girl I would have struck up a conversation with goes to school at Howard...POINTLESS! So, I really don't get it. I'm nowhere near 30. My mother acts like she's got emphysema and 3 months from kicking the bucket. "All I ever wanted was a granddaughter. *cough* *cough*" How do I even go about having my sociability questioned on such nonsensical grounds. What a crock of hot garbage...talkin' bout I ain't got game. I invented video games!

I have two more weddings, that I know of, to go to this summer. I'm pretty sure, I'll be one of two black people at the first and one of very few people not in a frat at the other. Define lame. Wedding season is not off to a great start, and I am not really happily anticipating the rest of the season.
